RTB CARGO is part of the RATH Group. The RATH Group is a holding company made up of regional and national transport companies based in Germany, the Benelux countries, Austria and Hungary. With over 950 employees, the company group has an annual turnover of approx. €250 million within the group companies. The RATH Group is made up of companies from the market segments of freight traffic, passenger transport, infrastructure management, workshop operation, training, IT, personnel services and bus transport. As a result, the RATH Group provides a quarter of all transport services within Europe.
Growth
Since the takeover of Rurtal railway we have been able to continuously expand our group of companies. We started with 63 employees in 2003 and within 15 years our workforce has increased tenfold. In the meantime, RATH Group has been active in the goods transport also in the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria, as well as in regional passenger rail transport not only in Nordrhein-Westfalen core area, but also in Hessen, Baden-Württemberg and Rheinland-Pfalz.
